Kiss Lashes

I've never used false lashes but I recently got a chance to try them for free through Influenster. They were somewhat difficult to apply from the directions on the package but I went online and found some tutorial videos that helped my apply them easier. I recommend to find some of the how to videos if you plan to use them. The lashes were of good quality and they managed to stay together well even with me pulling them will putting them on my eyes. I did have to trim mine slightly to get them to fit correctly but they did look pretty natural when I applied my makeup over the glue band. I received the adhesive for free as well so if you plan on using these lashes you would need to buy a separate tube of that. I really enjoyed wearing them and they give a great dramatic look at a bargain price.

Ore-Ida Tater Tots review

I received a coupon for a free package of Ore-Ida Tater Tots from Influenster. I liked that they are made with real potatoes. They bake evenly with a slight outer crisp and soft potato inside each tot or you could choose to deep fry them if you prefer.
They are very good and a great value by a trusted brand. They make a great snack or a quick meal side. They also have a ton of awesome ways you can use them in so many recipes. I had to try them in #Totchos for part of my review. They have many more recipes on the brand site.

Ore-Ida Totchos

This is my very simple preparition of the Ore-Ida Totchos recipe as found on KraftRecipes.com

 I started preparing the Totchos by baking a package of Ore-Ida Tater Tots in the oven as directed on the back of the package.

 I browned a pound of ground beef, drained and add a packet of taco seasoning and water. I could it until the sauce thickened a bit.

  I shredded some cheese.

and roughly chopped up some Roma tomatoes

 You can choose to use any of your favorite fixings for your own #Totchos. I chose to use chunky mild salsa, chopped tomatoes, Colby cheese and sour cream.

 Now comes the assembly. Put the tots on a plate and top with the seasoned browned beef, salsa, cheese, diced tomatoes, sour cream and more salsa. The great thing about this dish is that you can personalize it by layering your own favorite toppings in the order of your choosing. Top it and ENJOY!!!

I had a chance to host a party with some of the new Garnier products. I was most excited to try the Micellar water that I had been hearing so much about. I got to try the regular Micellar water and the Micellar water for removing waterproof makeup, and the Garnier SkinActive Clearly Brighter Daily Moisturizer. 

I was absolutely impressed that the Micellar water cleaned my skin so well and that the remover cleaned my waterproof mascara off with just a few simple swipes of the soaked pad. I generally have to scrub it vigorously to get it all off and then it ends up leaving my eye area red. I also was very pleased with the moisturizer and noticed that it did help to brighten up my complexion. I also noticed an improvement in the way my make looked after I applied it over the moisturizer. I did notice some positive results after just one week of use.

My girlfriends also gave it the thumbs up and were excited about their experiences with the Garnier SkinActive products.

 My Aveeno Experience

I recently had the opportunity to try Aveeno's new line of their Absolutely Ageless products. I sampled the intensive renewal serum, the daily moisturizer and the restorative night cream. 

I like the intensive renewal serum because it is very lightweight so my skin doesn't feel suffocated by the product, it absorbs very quickly, is non-greasy and it doesn't clog my pores so I can use it on a regular basis. I use it on my face and neck in the mornings under my moisturizer and makeup. I love it. I could really tell a huge difference after just one week. 

I have been using this night cream for a few weeks and I love it. I not only visually see a difference in my skin but i can also  physically feel that my skin is softer and smoother than ever before. This cream smells really good, is non greasy and absorbs super quickly. I apply it right before bedtime and then use Aveeeno daily moisturizer in the mornings. I will be replacing my other night cream with this one.

I love that this moisturizer already has sunscreen in it so I can moisturize and protect my skin all in one simple step. It smells so good and doesn't leave a greasy feeling so my makeup glides on smoothly after I use this moisturizer. I can definitely see a difference in my skin since I started using Aveeno Absolutely Ageless products.

Weight Watchers Glow party

Weight Watchers Morning Glow Party

 I got invited to host a brunch party to introduce my friends to the new program from Weight Watchers that will help us kick off the New Year and help us stick to those diet and exercise resolutions that everyone makes but never seems to stick to. Here is a brief description of the new approach to their program.

My party was supposed to take place on January 2nd at brunch but my kit didn't arrive until January 4 and my party report deadline date was January 10. I know the holidays were crazy and the delivery services must have been swamped with packages so I did the best I could on such short notice which is kind of ironic because that ties into the message that Weight Watchers is trying to convey with their new way of approaching obstacles that keep us from doing the things we need to accomplish.

However, I wish they would have included some sort of information on the Weight Watchers program itself so that I could have discussed it in depth to my guests. I was scrambling to do some research on any information that I could find out about it from the internet so I would at least be able to explain to my partygoers about their NEW Beyond the Scale Program. 

All in all, I think we had a very fun day. We ate a healthy brunch of fresh fruit and smoothies. We danced with our glow sticks, took silly photos and just had fun socializing. We also wrote a pledge to each other in everyone's journals. We each wrote our names and numbers in the journals vowing to be there for support whenever we were needed in good times or bad. Everyone took a journal home with them when the party was over with a date card to meet back again the same time next year to do the glow party all over again. 

We ate, we danced, we "Glowed"!

 A simple toy but loads of playtime fun

I received this My Little Pony Rainbow Dash Friendship Bus and ponies for the purpose of testing and providing an honest review. This is a pretty simple toy but it does provide lots of fun for kids who like the My Little Pony toys. The bus comes with the Friendship Dash pony included and it has slots to hold two more additional ponies if you have them or want to purchase some other ponies.

It has a stop sign that the child can manually pull out and close for pretend "bus stops". There is also a large pink push button in the front of the bus that will swing open the door to let the ponies come aboard. There is a slender roller on the side with My Little Pony pictures that the child can spin. It has cute little pink hearts on the yellow wheels which matches the theme of the windows and lights (non-working) on the bus.

There are no small pieces that would potentially pose a choking hazard but always supervise children while playing with any toys. My daughter loved playing with this toy and we used some of our other My Little Pony toys so that my husband and I could join her during playtime. We also used this opportunity to teach her about the meaning of friendships and sharing. #crowdtap #sponsored
