Winis Waterproof Dry Bag

My husband owns a boat so we have experience using dry bags to keep our belongings dry. We also like to use them when we go on vacation. They especially come in handy for keeping our things dry while visiting amusement parks because it has rained every time we have gone so it is always a good idea to have one handy.

I was very excited when I received the opportunity to try this Waterproof Dry Bag from Winis to test and provide my honest opinion on how it preformed for me. I received the dry bag in the color blue. They have several different color options to choose from so you can pick your favorite color or coordinate it to your other outdoor recreational supplies. The bright color makes it highly visible so it would be easy to find if it was to accidently fall overboard.

This is a 20L bag and it measures 16.54inches by 9.45 inches or 42 x 24 cm (Height x Bottom Diameter) so it really holds a lot of items but it can also still be compactly folded to save on space. When the bag is empty, it only weighs 0.53 pounds which makes it very lightweight to travel with. It comes with a long shoulder strap so it is easy to carry. The bag is made of  a high strength anti-tear 0.25MM thick 190T polyester lattice cloth that is guaranteed to be tear, rip and puncture proof. With this anti-tear feature, it can also be used as a beach bucket or backpack.

To use the bag, just fill it up with your desired items and fold over the top at least three times and clip the strong buckles together to lock it in place. This is a great dry bag to use for kayaking, rafting, boating, fishing, and camping. It does an excellent job of keeping your valuables protected from water dust, sand and mud.

3D Magnetic Eyelashes by WEBSUN

I hate the time and mess it takes to put on eyelashes so I have been looking into trying some magnetic lashes to see how they worked. I was thrilled to receive the chance to try a set of the 3D Magnetic Eyelashes by WEBSUN to review and provide my honest opinion how they worked for me.

The eyelashes come in a round compact container to store the lashes so they stay looking great. I didn't receive any instructions with these lashes but with a quick Internet search, I was able to basically understand how to use them. There were also no marks or indications telling you which pieces go on which lash. I thought that the extra step of adding a small instruction sheet would have made my experience with these a bit more pleasant.  

There is a slight slant to the ends of the lashes so they are intended to be used on the outer most area of your natural lash line. These do not cover the entire length of your own lashes but they cover about 50% of them to get that extra boost of volume to your lashes. After a little time working with them, I began to get the hang of putting them on quickly. I like to apply my mascara and curl my lashes before putting these on. It is not recommended to use mascara directly on these magnetic lashes because it could damage them so I apply it and let it dry completely before putting on the lashes.

The way you put these on is to take one of the lashes and hold it onto the top of your natural lashes in the location you want them to be. Then you take the second lash and place it under the first lash so that it "sandwiches" your natural lashes in between the two pieces. It is quick and easy without the mess of adhesives. I didn't like the fact that you could actually see the magnets. I thought that if they were not so shiny, they may have been less noticeable. To take these lashes off, you simply use your thumb and index finger to slide the lashes in the opposite direction of each other to disengage the magnets. The manufacture suggest that you do not take them off by pulling on them because it will damage the lashes. They also suggest that you gently wipe these with water only so they don't recommend that you wash these in the same manner as you would glue on lashes. I like to put down a white towel when applying these just so that they are easier to spot if I happened to drop one while putting them on. If you do drop one, you can just use a magnet to easily find it.

I do think that these are easier and less frustrating to use as opposed to other lashes that are glued on. I would absolutely recommend these for everyday use. I am pretty happy with these 3D Magnetic Eyelashes.

Jet Black 1 Disco Ball Bling Bracelet from BlingBlowout

I received this nice Jet Black 1 Disco Ball Bling Bracelet from BlingBlowout.com to review and share my opinions on how this product preformed for me. Upon unboxing the bracelet, I noticed that it comes in a simple plastic bag with no other written instructions or information which is not a big deal but it is that extra detail that I appreciate as a consumer of a product. 

When I tried to put it on, I thought that it was too small for me and then I realized that it is adjustable by pulling on the braided area with the dangling beaded string. To adjust the bracelet, you just simply slide each side in the opposite direction and then pull the string to adjust it to the desired fit. I found it was better to leave it a little bit loose so that it could move freely on my arm instead of it being really tight which can become uncomfortable.

I absolutely love a basic black and I do tend to wear a lot of black clothing so this is the perfect accessory for my wardrobe. I loved the different textures on this bracelet. It has the unique braiding around the beads and at the back where you adjust the length.

It also has the different textures on the beads with most of them being smooth black beads and the larger center bead being a sparkly disco ball type bead.

I really liked the hint of silver in the back of the bracelet that really stands out against the black string. All those tiny differences really created a very lovely look in this bracelet.

This is a very versatile piece of jewelry that would go well with casual attire and would even be appropriate for more formal wear. I think that this Jet Black 1 Disco Ball Bling Bracelet would look just as good paired with jeans and a cotton top or paired with a lovely flared dress.

Cozy Hands Scarf Knitting Craft Kit for Kids

I received this Soul Sound Magic Bluetooth Earbud Headphone to try and provide my opinion on how it worked for me. In the package, I received one earbud, a USB charger, S/M/L sized ear cushions, an instruction mini booklet and a round zippered storage case.

The earbud is roughly the size of a quarter and weighs 3.4 grams. It is designed to snugly fit into the ear. The tiny size makes it very discreet and having only one means that the other ear is free to hear sounds in the environment. This is especially helpful while driving. If I use it when I'm running errands or walking, I can listen to music and still hear what's going on around me. It also lets me hear if the kiddo needs my attention without having to pull the earbud out of my ear.

Blackhead Remover Tools from Sedremm

A blackhead extractor is a special tool designed to remove the dirt and skin cell plugs that cause blackheads. This tool is commonly used during facials because it can remove toxins from the skin without causing significant damage. The tool set is available from Sedremm through their Amazon store (link below). The kit comes with 5 separate tools, 10 alcohol pads, an instruction booklet and a mirrored carrying/storage case. Before you begin with this kit, it is very important to learn how to use a blackhead extractor tool properly. If it is used incorrectly, it can cause permanent skin damage and scarring so take the time to learn how to use it. The kit came with instructions but since they appear to be translated from a different language, they were a bit confusing and hard to understand. A quick search will offer lots of articles and videos to give you a much better understanding of how to use it and what each tool will do. There are a couple of different types of blackhead extractor tools with each tool having a specific purpose.

The first type of extractor has two heads. One end of the tool has a small spoon with a hole in the middle. The hole is small enough that it fits snuggly over the blackhead and when gentle pressure is applied to the area, the trapped substance is pushed out and released from the skin.

On the other end of the extractor is a small angled needle that can be used to puncture a whitehead so that the pus can be drained. It is angled so that it can reach difficult areas like crevices in the side of the nose.

The second type of extractor has a looped end on both sides of the tool. Each spoon like end is in a different size so that it can be used for different sizes of blackheads.

The third type of extractor has a looped end on one side and a straight pointed needle on the other end. The needle is also used to puncture white heads much like the first tool.

The fourth and fifth type of extractors are tweezers. One set has a straight pointed tip and the other has a curved pointed tip so they can be used to reach different areas of the skin.

These tools are really sharp and can be very dangerous so make sure that caution is used and put them far out of the reach of children.

To get the best results from this blackhead extractor kit, it is important to fully cleanse the skin with warm water beforehand. The warmth help to open the pores and loosen the trapped dirt. You can also steam your skin with a facial steamer to open the pores making them much easier to clean. After your face is clean, you can start to use the blackhead extractor tools. Place the tool over the blackhead and press very gently on one side while moving the tool across the skin's surface. Use the same type of motion that you would use to spread butter on bread.

After you have extracted the blackhead, thoroughly clean your skin again so that the pores do not become infected. You should also use a good quality facial toner and the best type of facial moisturizer for your skin type.

Clean the blackhead extractor tools by washing them in hot, soapy water in order to disinfect the tools. I also prefer to wipe them down with the included alcohol pads and let them dry completely before storing them.

Leg Gaiters from Winis

I received this pair of Leg Gaiters from Winis to review and provide my opinion on how these worked for me. These are knee length gaiters and measure about 18 inches tall. These gaiters are best for light conditions when you just need to keep snow, dirt, insects or rain out of your boots. The top has a toggle and elasticized draw cord to tighten them up. You don’t really need to overtighten the cord at the top of the gaiters. The cord is just used to keep the gaiters from slipping down your leg. Overtightening the cord may make them uncomfortable to wear. The gaiters have a long strip of Velcro making it quick and easy to put them on or take them off.  Put the gaiters on so that the opening of the Velcro closure is facing slightly towards the outsides of your legs. If you place them on the inside, you may accidentally kick the Velcro strips while walking. The instep boot straps are made with a thick faux leather type material for extra durability. The attached metal hooks at the bottom let you attach your gaiters to your boot laces for added security.

These gaiters are made from a 600D anti-tear durable oxford cloth fabric which is a waterproof, breathable material that helps to keep the moisture from snow and rain out of your boots. When wearing these gaiters to keep rain water out of your boots, try wearing the gaiters underneath your rain pants. This will help to create a sort of shingled effect that will let the rain run off of your boots instead of into them much like shingles help the rain flow off of a roof.

If you were to wear the gaiters over your pants, the rain will simply just run down your pants, underneath the gaiters and into your boots.

These gaiters are made with a durable material to help keep mosquitoes, ticks and other biting insects away. This can be very helpful for hiking and backpacking in areas known to have a huge insect population. The rugged fabric can withstand the abrasion of ice, rocks, cactus and thorny briar bushes. The fabric is also soft enough that it offers flexibility for climbing. They are very lightweight and can be folded up to fit in the included storage bag so that they don't take up a lot of valuable space in your pack.

These gaiters also come in handy while performing yardwork to offer some protection from flying debris when mowing or using a weed-eater.
