What is a Healthy Baby Home Party?

Healthy Baby Home Party kits are provided to all selected hosts and are filled with educational info about our environment, helpful tips, a fun game, and samples and coupons from Seventh Generation and other favorite family-friendly brands like bobble, Plum Organics and Zarbee's Naturals.

Seventh Generation Laundry Detergent

I was sent a few samples of the Seventh Avenue Laundry Detergent to try. The detergent packaging states that it is 4x Ultra Concentrated and that it is a natural detergent. I am very picky about what I use to wash our clothes and I generally try to find the purest soap or make it my self because I don't want my family to suffer with irritations from laundry soap.
I use the detergent in my husbands workout clothes because I figured if it would get something that he sweats in clean and it would not irritate his skin when he wore it after it was washed while he was sweating in it, then it would work for our whole families clothing. It did a great job of leaving his clothes clean and fresh smelling without dyes or perfumes.
I will be sure to grab a bottle on my next shopping trip and recommend it to anyone who may be looking for a better laundry detergent.

*I received a free sample for the purpose of providing an honest review. All opinions are 100% my own and based on my personal experience with the product.*

Seventh Generation Baby Wipes

I recently got to try a few free samples of the Seventh Generation Baby Free & Clear Wipes. The wipes are free from synthetic fragrances, dyes, parabens, phthalates, and alcohol. They are hypoallergenic and never tested on animals nor do they contain animal ingredients. They clean with ingredients derived from plants. The wipes are very thick and super soft so they clean even the worst mess. I only received a few single sheet packs which were great for traveling but you can find out more about the package count and where to buy on their website at www.seventhgeneration.com.

RoC® MULTI CORREXION® 5 in 1 Chest, Neck and Face Cream

I recently got invited to try the RoC® MULTI CORREXION® 5 in 1 Chest, Neck and Face Cream for free as a member of Crowdtap. Like many women, I take extra strides to treat the skin on my face, but I was unaware that I needed to be treating my chest and neck against aging as well.
RoC says is clinically proven to help reduce the 5 signs of aging in the chest, neck and face areas in just 4 weeks.
I just started using it so I will have to update you all on my progress after the 4 weeks are over. Here is the current state of my neck skin. As you can see, I have some creases and wrinkles that need some major improvement.
I'm looking forward to showing off my new beautiful skin in these outfits so I will see you all back here in 4 weeks to share my results. I have also enlisted a friend to come and share her results after using RoC® MULTI CORREXION® 5 in 1 Chest, Neck and Face Cream for four weeks so we can compare our findings.

Reynolds Cookie Baking Sheets

I have always been a fan of Reynolds Parchment paper. I use it for everything I bake in the oven. I also use it to line my pans on the stove top and we use it in our camping stove. My cookies always bake up golden and perfect. My vegetables and potatoes are crispy without having to use oil. It is perfect for making fish packets so I really enjoy how parchment makes everything cook up better.

I recently got the opportunity to try the Cookie Baking Sheets during a mission I was approved for on Crowdtap. I enjoyed using the sheets as opposed to using the roll because the sheets didn't roll up in the pan and I didn't have to cut them. The sheets come in a package of 22 sheets and they are usually priced at less than $4 at the big box stores. I highly recommend using them and always have great success when I use them for my baked goods. #sponsored

Reynolds Slow Cooker Liners

I got to try these Reynolds Slow Cooker Liners for free from Crowdtap for the purpose of a review. I recently got a new Pressure Cooker that doubles as a Slow Cooker so mine has a metal pan instead of the standard ceramic pot. It is also tall and round instead of short and oval like the majority of slow cookers. The box lists sizes that the liners fir but doesn't say whether or not they could be used for certain slow cooker pans so I decided to try it out with fingers crossed and a small prayer that my pan wouldn't be ruined. Here's how it went...
I opened a liner and placed it into my slow cooker pan. I was very nervous as to how this liner would perform since I had never used one before or knew of anyone who had. I had planned to cook a rack of ribs for the gang to eat while watching the big game.
Ribs are seasoned and in the slow cooker and now, to add my special secret super sticky sauce.
During the cooking process, I kept trying to figure out how this plastic liner didn't melt onto my metal slow cooker pan when the food inside the pot was cooking at boiling hot temperatures. MAGIC???
All done and ready to be served. Caution: Do Not try to remove the food from the pot inside the liner. This could be very dangerous in case the liner happens to rip or tear. No one wants hot food dumped on their body or kitchen so use some common sense and ladle the food into a serving dish.
After removing the food and tossing the liner in the garbage, I'm left with a clean pot that requires no soaking or scrubbing. I can actually enjoy the time after dinner without having to be stuck in the kitchen cleaning. I can actually say my pan was fine and these liners really did a great job even with the rib bones, the liners didn't get punctured and my pan was squeaky clean.
The liners come in a package of 4 liners and priced at less than $3 a box in the big box stores. I will be stocking up on these for future use. So grab a box, cook your favorite slow cooker recipe and find a hobby to take us all the extra time you saved by not having to scrub those dirty pans. Enjoy!

Garnier Haircolor

I recently was selected to try the Garnier Color Sensation Hair color for free as a member of a Crowdtap mission. I received the Shade 3.26 Deep Burgundy color. The box included an instruction sheet with a set of attached plastic gloves, a root touch-up brush, developer bottle, colorant tube, and a packet of after coloring conditioner.
If you have ever colored your hair at home, it is pretty much the standard application. Put on gloves, snap tip off developer bottle, add entire tube of colorant, shake and apply. If you are doing full head coloring, you just make parts with the bottle tip while squeezing the color onto your hair until it is fully saturated. My hair is shoulder length and I still had quite a lot left in my bottle after completely applying it all over my head. I left in in for 25 minutes and rinsed until the water ran clear. Then I applied the conditioner, left in for 2 minutes and rinsed. I blow dried and styled it as usual.'
I was a bit worried at how purple the color looked as I was going through the process but after rinsing, I was pleased with the final color. I love how it looks. My hair also felt silky and smooth after I was finished. It wasn't very messy and didn't leave my skin stained. Be very careful when handling the mixed coloring and clean up any spills immediately. My husband really loves the color so I would say this Garnier Color Sensation was a hit!
