Reynolds Slow Cooker Liners

I got to try these Reynolds Slow Cooker Liners for free from Crowdtap for the purpose of a review. I recently got a new Pressure Cooker that doubles as a Slow Cooker so mine has a metal pan instead of the standard ceramic pot. It is also tall and round instead of short and oval like the majority of slow cookers. The box lists sizes that the liners fir but doesn't say whether or not they could be used for certain slow cooker pans so I decided to try it out with fingers crossed and a small prayer that my pan wouldn't be ruined. Here's how it went...
I opened a liner and placed it into my slow cooker pan. I was very nervous as to how this liner would perform since I had never used one before or knew of anyone who had. I had planned to cook a rack of ribs for the gang to eat while watching the big game.
Ribs are seasoned and in the slow cooker and now, to add my special secret super sticky sauce.
During the cooking process, I kept trying to figure out how this plastic liner didn't melt onto my metal slow cooker pan when the food inside the pot was cooking at boiling hot temperatures. MAGIC???
All done and ready to be served. Caution: Do Not try to remove the food from the pot inside the liner. This could be very dangerous in case the liner happens to rip or tear. No one wants hot food dumped on their body or kitchen so use some common sense and ladle the food into a serving dish.
After removing the food and tossing the liner in the garbage, I'm left with a clean pot that requires no soaking or scrubbing. I can actually enjoy the time after dinner without having to be stuck in the kitchen cleaning. I can actually say my pan was fine and these liners really did a great job even with the rib bones, the liners didn't get punctured and my pan was squeaky clean.
The liners come in a package of 4 liners and priced at less than $3 a box in the big box stores. I will be stocking up on these for future use. So grab a box, cook your favorite slow cooker recipe and find a hobby to take us all the extra time you saved by not having to scrub those dirty pans. Enjoy!
