Update: Seventh Generation Baby Wipes

Update: We have continued to use the Seventh Generation Baby Free & Clear Wipes and are still very pleased with their performance. Some of my friends have also switched their brand to these and love them as well.

I recently got to try a few free samples of the Seventh Generation Baby Free & Clear Wipes. The wipes are free from synthetic fragrances, dyes, parabens, phthalates, and alcohol. They are hypoallergenic and never tested on animals nor do they contain animal ingredients. They clean with ingredients derived from plants. The wipes are very thick and super soft so they clean even the worst mess. Garnier Whole Blends

I have used a few of the different varieties of Garnier Whole Blends Shampoos and Conditioners that I received free to try as part of a sampling mission from Crowdtap. Each one has very distinct smells and benefits from using them. I loved the smells of each one but my favorite has to be Coconut oil & Cocoa butter. As for performance, I pick Honey Treasures for strengthening my hair and Coconut Oil & Cocoa butter for my daughter's naturally curly hair. My husband chose the Coconut Water & Vanilla milk as his favorite because it made his coarse hair feel very soft. Here are my reviews for my sampling pack.

Honey Treasures Shampoo
This shampoo smells really good. It has a somewhat floral scent with the yummy smell of honey. I like that it helps to repair and strengthen my hair. I was very pleased with the results from this shampoo. It left my hair feeling soft, shiny and healthy looking. I also used it on my daughter's hair and it left her curls very soft and bouncy.
Honey Treasures Conditioner
I think that this conditioner smells a bit better than the Honey Treasures shampoo, but they both still smell great. I like to use conditioner before I shampoo. It is a tip I got from my hairdresser because I have baby fine hair and using conditioner last tends to weigh my hair down leaving it looking very thin. This conditioner was very easy to rinse and made my hair very soft even when I let it air dry. I used it on my daughter's hair and it didn't weight down her beautiful curls.

Coconut Water & Vanilla Milk Shampoo
The shampoo smells really nice and subtle. It like that it helps to hydrate my scalp. I tend to have a very flaky scalp so I try to change up my hair care routine to find a combination that works for me. I think that this shampoo will help with continued use. My husband chose the Coconut water & Vanilla Milk as his favorite because he has thick, coarse hair and this shampoo helps to soften it without leaving his scalp dry and itchy like some others do.
Coconut Water & Vanilla Milk Conditioner
I like the mild, subtle scent of this conditioner. This was my husband's choice because it didn't leave him smelling to feminine but it did a great job of softening his thick, coarse hair. My scalp did feel more hydrated and less itchy after using this conditioner along with the matching shampoo. I also noticed that my hair didn't feel oily as quickly after using the Coconut Water & Vanilla Milk shampoo and conditioner as it does with other brands.

Coconut Oil & Cocoa Butter Shampoo
This Coconut Oil & Cocoa Butter was my favorite scent. I really liked this shampoo for my daughter's hair because it seemed to help her curls hold their shape instead of weighing them down and becoming frizzy. It helped her naturally curly hair feel very light and bouncy. I used it on my straight hair because it tends to look frizzy when I blow dry it. It did help my hair look smoother and shiny.
Coconut Oil & Cocoa Butter Conditioner
This conditioner helped to leave my hair feeling soft and smooth after blow drying. I used it on my daughter's hair because she has natural curly hair and most conditioners tend to weigh down her curls making her hair look frizzy and out of control. After using the Coconut Oil & Coconut Butter conditioner along with the shampoo, her curls were light and bouncy and stayed perfectly shaped. This conditioner left our hair smelling amazing and looking great.

K-Y Yours+Mine Warming Couples Lubricant

My husband and I are big fans of K-Y. We like to use these Pleasure Gels during foreplay for that extra burst of sensation. We recently tried the K-Y couples Love Gel but we like the extra heat of the Yours+Mine. It was pure bliss when the two combined. We didn't experience any burning sensations, it was just a nice warm tingling feeling that we both enjoyed.
 I was a bit reluctant to try the Mine (for her) because it has a smell similar to the muscle rubs so I was a little afraid it would be hot so I only used a small amount at first. The Yours (for him) didn't have a strong smell like mine did. We enjoyed using the K-Y Yours+Mine Warming Couples Lubricant and will choose it each time we desire that extra heat to ignite our night!

Amope Pedi Perfect Wet and Dry Foot FIle

I was lucky enough to be selected to try the Amope Pedi Perfect Wet and Dry Foot File for free as part of a mission from Crowdtap.

The contents of the package I received has the two-speed file with removable head, a charger base with a USB charging cable and plug. There is also a button on the side to release the file head for cleaning or replacing. You can buy the replacement heads at most retail stores that sell the file or find them online. The file has an on/off switch on the handle with the ability to switch it between low and high speeds. The beauty of this file is that you can use it on dry feet or while you are in the shower. It suggests to use low speed while you are using it as a dry file and using high speed when you are using it wet or if you have very thick callused feet like I do. 

My feet are rough and tend to crack no matter how much I scrubbed, exfoliated or moisturized them. My mother, grandmother and several aunts suffer from this problem as well so I'm assuming heredity plays some part in it as well as having crazy hormones.

I have had this file for about two weeks now and use it about 3 times a week since my feet are so bad. If your feet are already semi smooth, you could probably just use it once a week or once every other week. It's totally up to your own personal preference. The first picture was how my feet looked before I started using the Amope. You can see how rough and badly cracked they were. The second photo was during the first week after about 3 uses. The final photo was at the end of the second week and 6 uses. That is a huge improvement. My skin is now silky smooth and the cracks are basically almost totally gone.  

I absolutely LOVE the Amope Pedi Perfect Wet and Dry Foot File and have been recommending it highly to everyone I can. I love mine so much that I am buying a few for my mother, grandmother and aunts as gifts. It is priced at around $60 dollars and $20 for a set of refills but I can guarantee that, for me, it is totally worth every cent!

Secret Clinical Strength antiperspirant/deodorant

I suffer from anxiety-fuel sweating and tend to stress out a lot so I definitely needed the extra protection that only a clinical deodorant can give. This deodorant has a light, subtle fragrance and goes on smoothly without leaving the white residue on my body or clothing. I used it in the morning and went through my day as usual by running errands, working out and tending to my garden.
I didn't experience any sweat odor and I also didn't have to reapply it several times during the day like I do with regular deodorants. I am very pleased with the performance of Secret Clinical Strength Light and Fresh antiperspirant/deodorant.

o.b. Pro Comfort Silk Touch tampons

I recently got a chance to try the o.b. Pro Comfort Silk Touch tampons by being a member of CrowdTap. These tampons are super compact making them easy to conceal in your palm, pocket or clutch so they are very discreet. I really like that they have no applicator and create less waste than standard tampons. That also means that there is no embarrassingly loud noises when you are in the public stall trying to open your tampon.

They are very easy to insert and even easier to remove than other tampons because of the Silk Touch cover. They are super comfortable and very absorbent. I haven't experienced any leaking with these tampons even while being very active during a heavy flow day. Now, keep in mind, every woman's body is different so what works perfectly for me may not work as well for someone else. You should definitely give the o.b. Pro Comfort Silk Touch tampons a try.
