My friend gave me a plastic pond container before she passed away. I wanted to honor her memory and use it somewhere in my yard. I decided I wanted to continue to use it as a water feature so I started looking for water fountains. I found this fountain and decided to purchase it because it is solar powered which means I don't have to worry about batteries or having electricity in a certain area so I can place it anywhere I want. The fountain comes with the pump, four attachment heads for different spray patterns and a large solar panel. The panel is seven inches wide and four-and-three-quarter inches tall. The solar panel cord is about ten-and-a-half feet long which is great because it gives me enough wire to be able to move the panel away from the fountain to keep it out of sight if I choose to do so.
I do wish the suction cups on the pump where either larger or stronger so they would be more secure. The pump would tend to fall over after a few minutes of use. I was able to make some minor modifications to get it to work better for me. The drawback is that the panel does not store any solar energy so unless the sun is fully out, the fountain does not work. The fountain also does not work well if it is a cloudy or overcast day. It does look nice when it is in operation and can quickly add that "wow" factor to any garden for a budget price.
