I was asked to do an unboxing campaign which means that I am to open the box and share my immediate opinion of the product. I received the product, started the camera and opened the box. As soon as I opened the package of these socks, I immediately noticed that there were bits of sock yarn falling from the socks. I thought that maybe it was just scraps from where they had trimmed the socks during the manufacturing process and had just gotten overlooked as they were packing them up. I opened the wrapper and started to examine the socks. More and more piece of the yarn kept coming off of the socks. In just a matter of seconds, a pile had started form. I turned the socks inside out and found them to be quite a mess. I can not imagine that this would be comfortable to put my feet into without my toes getting caught in the strings or the strings irritating my skin while wearing them. A few of the pairs of socks had the non-skid ridges on the bottom which was peeling off before the socks had even been removed from the packaging. I do not think that these socks would hold up well during wearing or washing.
I contacted the seller to inform them of my issues to make them aware that there was a problem. I also sent them photos for proof. I do understand that things happen and not every product is perfect every single time and things happen especially if it is manufactured by someone other than the person or company that actually sells the product. I wanted to give them the opportunity to rectify the problem. I contacted them several times and they ignored my emails every single time. I gave them ample time to respond and still have not heard back from them. To me, that says a lot about a company. To know that they were not even willing to work with someone who was promoting their product to generate sells really leaves me to wonder how they would treat a customer. Even though I did receive a small discount for helping to promote their product, I still put in the work and my own money to purchase these socks. They also tried to remove me from this campaign but mistakenly removed me from a different sock campaign that they were running. I can only assume that they were trying to avoid a bad review of a low quality product that they were already aware of. I did some research and noticed that the review on this product on Amazon states that many others have had problems with the quality of these socks.
I would not recommend that anyone buy this or any other products from this company because of the quality issues and nonexistent customer service. They will gladly accept your money but do not stand behind their product or strive to have satisfied customers. Luckily, Amazon does a great job of protecting their customers from sellers such as this so I will be returning these socks for a full refund of the money that I paid to receive them.
