I received this set of 2 Lalapao Solar Powered Globe String Lights in White to review and provide my honest opinion on how these performed for me.
This set of outdoor string lights are durable and safe to use. They are energy-saving and better for the environment because they don't need to use any electricity. They harness the power of the sun to work so there are no other costs in using these lights after the initial investment of purchasing them. Since they don't require the need for access to a power outlet, they can be used virtually anywhere you can imagine. This also makes them much safer to use because there is no risk of an electrical fire or shock so they are much better to use around children or pets than standard light strands.
The bulbs and solar panels are completely waterproof. They can be used outdoors and indoors. If you plan to use these indoors all the time, they will work just fine as long as they have access to a light source for charging. The beautiful glow of these lights provide a perfect and soft atmosphere for your home, garden, or even in a bedroom to create romantic mood lighting. They make a great addition to water features.
The lights are easy to operate because they only have two buttons to control. On the back of the solar panel, there is an on/off button and a mode button. The on/off button can be used to manual control the lights or it can be pushed to put the lights in auto-mode. In auto-mode, the lights will automatically come on as soon as the sun starts to set in the evening. The lights will run up to 10 hours or more after they are fully charged in direct sunlight. They will automatically turn off when the sun starts to rise or when the internal battery has been drain. The panel will recharge its batteries in the sunlight and store the power until the sun starts to set once more. The lights will repeat this same routine automatically every night as long as the on/off button is engaged.
There are two complete sets of these lights in the box with each strand measuring 19 feet in length and have 30 round acrylic LED bright white bulbs. The cords are even durable enough so that I can experiment with forming these lights into different shapes to create 3D holiday yard art.
