This set of 2 Vmanoo Battery Operated Warm White globe string lights consist of 40 translucent white plastic globes. The diameter of each globe is 2.8 inches. Each strand measures 19.7FT/6M with the spacing of the LEDs at 10CM/0.33FT. The silver wire is coated with a clear plastic covering and the plastic battery box is white so these light strands can be easily concealed to blend in to most décor. The lights can be turned on for continuous use or they can be set on the 6 hour or 12 hour auto-off timer options. There are 5 different lighting effects to choose from so I can choose to have the lights blinking in different patterns.
These lights are powered by 3 AA batteries which are not included so make sure to purchase those before planning to use these light strands. The globe lights and battery box are made of waterproof materials so they can be use indoors as well as outdoors. The battery box has a silicone gasket to help keep it protected from water seeping into the compartment so it is extremely important that the gasket is correctly fitted before using these outdoors. These lights are not intended to be used submerged in water and attempting to do so would certainly cause these lights to become damaged.
These light strands are easy to use anywhere because they run on batteries. They are light weight and portable so they are perfect to take to locations where there may not be access to power like camp sites, parks, picnic areas, etc. They can even be used to decorate vehicles or trailers for a parade.
