Natural Pest Deterrent Bird Repellent Tape Works on Woodpeckers, Pigeons, & Other Animals Reflects Lights 2 Inches Thick 100 FT

We have a pesky woodpecker that is not only annoying but is also causing quite a bit of damage to our home and structures around our property. We have tried several different options such as those plastic owl decoys, noise makers and stickers. Nothing seemed to deter this determined little guy from reaching his targeted area. He would happily peck away right next to all the deterrents that we placed there. We were at our wits end until I received this Natural Pest Deterrent Bird Repellent Tape. We realized that we needed the unpredictable movement and sound from the holographic tape flapping in the breeze to frighten the woodpecker away.

Now this roll of Bird Repellent Tape is not actually tape. It doesn’t have any adhesive or stickiness so I don’t have to adhere it to any surfaces potentially causing more damage from any glue bond or it leaving behind any residue. I love that I don’t have to mess up the paint on my home and that this is not permanently affixed and can be moved or repositioned as needed.

The tape is thick and very durable. It does not tear easily so it will stand up against very windy conditions. The tape comes in a 100 foot roll so I have plenty to use in multiple locations throughout the yard. I can cut it to any length I prefer and having it on a roll makes it easy to use and store. The roll is 2 inches wide so it is large enough to be highly visible to the birds. Tape repels most common household birds including pigeons, woodpeckers, grackles, blackbirds, seagulls, ducks, herons, crows, ravens and more.

Since this tape doesn’t stick to surfaces it needs to be tied into place. I used a regular handheld hole punch from my office supplies to punch a hole in the tape so that I could tie some clear fishing line to it to hang. I did double the top of the tape over a few times before punching the hole just to add more durability to the tape so that the string could be securely tied on and didn’t cut through the tape while it moved around in the wind.

It really worked!!! We have not seen or heard from the woodpecker since we used this tape. I hung it from a tree near the area where the woodpecker frequently visited and it has not returned. I have a bird feeder near that tree and as a bonus surprise, this tape has worked effectively at scaring a squirrel away from this feeder. This tape is not intended to work for squirrels but I am happy that it helped with my squirrel problem in this situation as well so that I didn’t have to take more drastic measurements to remove the pest. This tape is a very humane way to deter problematic animals.
