Today I will be reviewing the "Keep Calm My Apron Is On" Cooking Apron from Kitchenlife.
I always seem to manage to become an absolute mess any time I step into the kitchen so using an apron is a must for me. I received this adorable apron with the slogan "Keep Calm My Apron Is On". Everyone knows that "Keep Calm" phrase and you see it displayed everywhere in lots of different ways and places. This apron is a fun way to let people know to just be patient and their food with be coming up shortly. It also does the job it was meant to do which is to protect your clothes from messes. The apron is black in color with white lettering and made of a durable 80/20 Polyester/Cotton blend.
The apron measures 27.5" in Width X 35.5" in Length so it's plenty large enough even for those of us who enjoy the food we cook maybe a little bit more than we should. It has a long adjustable neck strap with a matching colored buckle type fastener so it can be adjusted so that it will fit someone short like me or someone who is very tall like my husband is. There are three large storage pockets in the front to keep things handy while your cooking. I like to keep a hand towel, a small bottle of hand sanitizer and some tissues in mine especially if I'm cooking outdoors during allergy season.
When you are done using it and have gotten it as messy as possible it is so easy to wash. Just throw it in your machine to wash with a load of colors and then tumble dry on a low cycle. It's made with a really durable, sturdy quality of material so it looks as though they have made this apron to last. For less than $15 theses would make great gifts for that person who loves to cook or that guy who is the self-proclaimed grillmaster.
